Workshop Description:

Surrogate Partner Therapy is a relatively unique modality which combines the support and growth of a talk therapist with the experiential component of the surrogate partner for the benefit of the client. Creating a safe space for a client to practice a healthy relationship, boundaries, and increasing their relational and personal capacity, SPT offers an extraordinary and healing method for clients in many stages of life. This course is designed to give an overview of the modality, and speak to what clients would benefit from it, what working within the triadic model looks like, and how to begin working with an SPT practitioner.

  • Understand the "Triadic Model" of work with a surrogate, therapist, and client
